Some publisher paid the Obamas a buttload of money to write memoirs over 4 years ago. Michelle met her obligation with an unreadable book within a year or so but lazy-ass Barack is just now getting around to doing his. In the least surprising thing ever, the former president blames racism for his complete lack of accomplishment in 8 years of occupying the White House. Somehow it was not just the racism of the GOP that stoped him from accomplishing anything, Trump’s racism did it too.
CNN got their hands on a leaked copy of Obama’s forthcoming book A Promised Land. In it, he does what all Obama’s do: play the victim of racism.
It was as if my very presence in the White House had triggered a deep-seated panic, a sense that the natural order had been disrupted. Which is exactly what Donald Trump understood when he started peddling assertions that I had not been born in the United States and was thus an illegitimate president. For millions of Americans spooked by a Black man in the White House, he promised an elixir for their racial anxiety.
Hey, check that out: Obama thinks millions of Americans are racist too. What a dick.
For some reason he leaves out the part that it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008 that actually started the “birtherism” thing, questioning Obama’s natural born American citizenship status. I wonder why only Trump is racist for this. I bet it has something to do with the “R” after his name.
Speaking of which, Obama laments that with Republicans in control of the House and Senate, he was unable to get anything done:
In that sense, there wasn’t much difference between Trump and Boehner or McConnell. They, too, understood that it didn’t matter whether what they said was true,” he writes, adding: “In fact, the only difference between Trump’s style of politics and theirs was Trump’s lack of inhibition.
So Republican lawmakers are just as racist as Trump, they just hide it better? Maybe Republicans blocked Obama’s agenda because it was radical leftist bullshit and not because he is black.
It turns out Sarah Palin is the one who made the Republicans so damn racist:
Through Palin, it seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican Party — xenophobia, anti intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, an antipathy toward Black and brown folks — were finding their way to center stage.
And finally, Obama accidentally cops to his own racism by admitting he picked Joe Biden because he’s whiter than an albino masturbating in a snowstorm:
One of the reasons I’d chosen Joe to act as an intermediary — in addition to his Senate experience and legislative acumen — was my awareness that in McConnell’s mind, negotiations with the vice president didn’t inflame the Republican base in quite the same way that any appearance of cooperation with (Black, Muslim socialist) Obama was bound to do.
At least he admits to being a Muslim socialist, so the book isn’t all lies.
Obama should have titled this grievance fest: Everyone I Hate Is Racist! Though not unexpected, he’s using racism to blame everyone else for his shortcomings. Kinda like his 8-year occupation of the White House.
