Normally you would think that excluding people because of their race is racist but there’s a little known clause which says it’s okay if those people are white. The City of Oakland, California is giving monthly $500 checks to poor people except poor white people because equality isn’t as equal as it seems. Another little known clause is that the liberal media doesn’t find discrimination against white people to be outrageous so this story will get very little attention.
The U.S. fake mews industry is so disinterested in anti-white discrimination that it took a British source, The Daily Mail, to break the story:
A program to give $500 monthly checks to low-income families of color in Oakland, California, has been criticized for explicitly excluding the 10,000 white residents living in poverty in the city.
The lottery system, funded by private philanthropists, will see the no-strings-attached checks go to households with an annual income of less than $59,000 if they have at least one child. The other half of the $500 checks will go to those earning under $30,000.
According to data from an Oakland Equity Indicators Report, cited by officials to justify favoring people of color, white households earn about three times that of African-American ones.
The same report states around 8 per cent of the city’s white residents, approximately 10,000 people, live in poverty.
According to Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf, who is apparently a white person herself, those 10,000 poor white people can f*ck right off.
Schaaf told the Associated Press the reason for limiting eligibility to black, indigenous and other people of color was that white households in Oakland make on average about three times as much as black households.
And speaking of The AP, they actually did report on this racial discrimination, but framed it as an awesome and empowering thing:
Oakland’s project is significant because it is one of the largest efforts in the U.S. so far, targeting up to 600 families. And it is the first program to limit participation strictly to Black, Indigenous and people of color communities.
The reason: White households in Oakland on average make about three times as much annually than black households, according to the Oakland Equity Index. It’s also a nod to the legacy of the Black Panther Party, the political movement that was founded in Oakland in the 1960s.
“Guaranteed income has been a goal of the Black Panther platform since its founding. Direct investment in the community in response to systemic injustices isn’t new,” said Jesús Gerena, CEO of Family Independence Initiative.
“Kille whitey” and “off the pigs” were also part of the Black Panther platform, so can we expect something along those lines from Oakland in the near future?
The rest of the liberal media didn’t bother to mention that white people are excluded from this program in their headlines:

Maybe it’s just me but the racially exclusionary aspect of the story seems like it is the story. Not to the liberal media however.
Here’s the thing, it doesn’t matter if the money comes from private donations, it’s being implemented by the city government. The government cannot distribute resources based on race. Come to think of it, neither can private companies or individuals. If Wendy’s was giving out free Baconators to whites only, they’d be sued by the Justice Department for civil rights violations.
