As we told you earlier, Joe Biden nominated an anti-gun extremist for the “Secretary of the AFT” whatever the hell that is. This was part of his ceremony to unleash his executive orders on gun control. In doing so, he lied his ass off about the 2nd Amendment and the 1st Amendment. It’s apparently really hard to sell unconstitutionality with the truth.
Biden announced some executive orders to ban “ghost guns” and arm braces as well as something to do with “red flag” warnings. In reality, his orders don’t do anything other than ask the Department of Justice to look into these things. He did however renew his call to ban “assault weapons” and pass a gun registry.
To sell all of this bullshit, he rolled out his military-style high-capacity bullshit cannon:
“Nothing, nothing I am about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment,” started Biden.
It’s interesting that he used the word “impinge” instead of “infringe. Impinging is encroaching on something in an annoying way while infringing is encroaching that violates the law. Either way, Biden is lying since gun bans are both.
“They’re phony arguments suggesting that these are 2nd Amendment rights at stake what we’re talking about,” said Biden.
Speaking of phony arguments:
“No amendment, no amendment to the Constitution is absolute. Can’t yell ‘crowd’ in a, you can’t yell ‘fire’ in a crowded movie theater — recall a freedom of speech,” Biden said.
You can actually yell “fire” in a crowded movie theater as well as yelling “crowd” in a fired movie theater. This is the biggest bullshit argument democrats use to justify unconstitutional gun control. There is no law, no Supreme Court decision, and nothing in the Constitution that forbids the yelling of anything in any kind of theater of any capacity.
And the lies kept coming:
“From the very beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own. From the very beginning that the Second Amendment existed, certain people weren’t allowed to have weapons,” said Biden.
Can we get a cat-check on aisle 2 please?
The 2nd Amendment was adopted into the Constitution’s Bill of Rights in 1791 and states very clearly: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The first gun control bill in the United States was The National Firearms Act, passed in 1934, 146 years after the 2nd Amendment. It is a lie to say that from the very beginning people had restrictions on the type of firearms they could own.
The first gun control bill to restrict certain people from owning firearms was The Federal Firearms Act of 1938, 150 years after the 2nd Amendment. It is a lie to say that from the very beginning certain people weren’t allowed to own firearms.
“So the idea is just bizarre, to suggest that some of the things we’re recommending are contrary to the Constitution,” Biden said.
Speaking of bizarre:
“We should also ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country,” said Biden. “There’s no reason someone needs a weapon of war with 100 rounds, 100 bullets that can be fired from that weapon.”
Biden should refer to the 2nd Amendment which makes no mention of certain types of weapons or magazine capacities. It simply say people have a right to own arms and semi-automatic rifles as well as magazines are clearly defined as arms.
The word “need” does also not appear in the 2nd Amendment. There is no clause that says Joe Biden gets to decide what kind of arms people need and those will be the only ones legally available.
It’s a lie that nothing he is proposing “impinges” on the 2nd Amendment. His gun control proposals impinge all over our rights like the money shot in an unconstitutional porno flick.
