The Washington Post has finally fact-checked some of Joe Biden’s lies after previously stating they would not fact-check him, which is a lie in of itself. The fake news rag used lies to fact-check Biden’s lies, making it it some kind of supernova of bullshit for which truth and journalism cannot escape. And in reality, this “fact-check” of Biden’s lies was meant as another shot at former President Donald Trump because that’s all these people know.
At first glance, this seems like the liberal media is finally holding Joe Biden accountable:

But it’s very apologetic in nature, excusing Biden’s lies as nothing more that good-natured exaggerations:
After four years of a presidency that swamped Americans with a gusher of false and misleading claims, the Joe Biden era has offered a return to a more typical pattern when it comes to a commander in chief and his relationship with the facts — one that features frequent spin and obfuscation or exaggeration, with the occasional canard.
More typical for Biden, when he uttered a false statement, was some subtle truth-stretching.
Canards and subtle truth-stretching? Gosh that doesn’t sound so bad. At least, that’s what the WaPo wants you to think. Look how much better they say Biden is compared to Trump:
Through April 26, Biden has made 67 false or misleading statements, according to a Washington Post Fact Checker analysis of every speech, interview, tweet or public statement made by the president. That compares to 511 such statements in Trump’s first 100 days.
That statistic needs an asterisk as the WaPo counted every Trump opinion they disagreed with as a lie. Also, they didn’t actually count all of Biden’s lies. An actual comparison of the 2 men would be Trump: zero lies and 511 things liberals hate versus Biden: 700 lies and 633 things liberals love.
Another thing to consider here is that Biden hasn’t given one single legitimate press conference and all his communications with the public have been scripted. He reads pre-prepared statements off of teleprompter and flash cards. If he has said 67 things that the Washington Post if forced to admit are bullshit, that means his handlers are doing a very poor job. Imagine what kind of crap would come out of Biden’s moth if he was winging it.
Another thing that makes this WaPo “fact-check” a lie is their contention that Biden’s lies were merely him misspeaking or exaggerating. Of the lies they cataloged, most of them are repeat offenders. He lied about the Georgia voting law over and over again. He consistently told the same lies regarding COVID-19. He repeated his lies about the illegal immigration. A person is not misspeaking or exaggerating when they repeat lies that have been debunked, they are bullshitting.
And of course the WaPo conveniently missed some of Biden’s major lies:

The biggest lie of this WaPo fat-check of Biden’s lies is that they are trying to give the impression they are holding him accountable. They are in fact excusing his lies and normalizing his bullshit.
