Noted plagiarist Joe Biden borrowed a page from Marie Antionette and told people who can’t afford gas that they should buy themselves a $100,000 electric vehicle. Instead of “let them eat cake” Joe went with “let them drive the new electric Hummer.”
Despite promises that people would have more money and a lower cost of living, Joe Biden has driven up the price of everything, especially gas, with his irresponsible and incompetent policies. In an attempt to make people think he understands their pain and frustration, he flew on Air Force One to a GM plant in Michigan to test drive an electric Hummer.
According to the liberal media, this was part of Biden’s sales pitch for his Build Back Better agenda. This was meant to show people what it will be like under his socialist spending plan:

Biden floored it and lit up the tires, which must have terrorized the GM people in the vehicle with him. There’s not too many things scarier than a 79-year-old dementia sufferer with a lead foot. After nearly driving into some construction equipment, Biden slowly turned the Hummer and around and came at the press.
Unlike the last time he drove an electric vehicle, this time he didn’t threaten to run over any reporters. He did try making a joke, which we know is a joke only because he laughed.
“Anybody want to jump in the back? On the roof?” Biden asked.
He’s as hilarious as he is competent.
Okay, these electric Hummers apparently retail for $112,595, so Biden is saying if you can’t afford gasoline, just get one of these. He still needs to work out some of the kinks like how people who can’t afford $5 a gallon can afford over a hundred grand.
Biden has made it very clear that he intends to get rid of gasoline powered cars with his Build Back better spending bill as well as his anti-fossil fuel policies, but what about him? He has a beloved 1967 Corvette Stingray with a big gas-guzzling 427 V-8 engine. It was a wedding gift from his father and more recently his loser kids had it restored for him.
If he is in any way serious about eliminating gas-powered vehicles, should he offer up his ‘Vette as a sacrifice to the green gods. He should set an example by having his dinosaur fuel classic car crushed and melted into wind turbine parts.
Oh wait, I almost forgot that when democrats tell us we have to make sacrifices for the greater good, they mean we have to, not them.
Joe Biden has been very dismissive of people feeling the pinch of his shitty economic policies. The optics of him tooling around in a hundred thousand dollar electric Hummer when a lot of people can’t even fill up their cars is his Marie Antoinette movement.
I was going to write something about Marie Antoinette’s fate of getting her head chopped off to warn Biden about his elitist attitudes, but let’s face it, if Joe got his head lopped off there wouldn’t be much difference.
