While the mild protests of January 6 were still ongoing, democrats began developing their false narrative that it was a deadly insurrection. Despite the complete lack of death (on the law enforcement side) they have run with this garbage for a year now. To commemorate the anniversary of a completely forgettable non-event, Nancy Pelosi tried to keep the narrative going by holding a moment of silence for a bunch of police officers who definitely weren’t killed on January 6.
On a day ridiculousness from democrats overplaying the events of January 6, this may be the most absurd:

Died because of January 6? Like they were killed on that day or died because of injuries they received on that day? Nice try, but that’s all bullshit.
Brian Sicknick was the one officer democrats tried desperately to portray as having been killed by “insurrectionists” but the truth eventually came out. Originally the left reported that he had been hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and then collapsed and died. What really happened is he died of a stroke, unrelated to anything that happened at the Capitol on January 6. He died of natural causes.
Jeffrey Smith was D.C. Metro cop who shot himself to death on January 15, 2021, 9 days after the “deadly insurrection.” His wife has been trying to get his death ruled as having occurred in the line of duty but that’s going nowhere. He committed suicide. He wasn’t murdered by protesters.
Howard Liebengood was a U.S. Capitol Police Officer who also took his life after January 6. His wife actually blames USCP for his death because they made him stay on duty for 3 straight days after the protests. Claiming he was sleep deprived, his wife said he killed himself on January 9, 2021. Again, this was a suicide, not a murder.
And finally, the most laughable one of them all:
Billy Evans was a Capitol Police Officer who was killed by a black Muslim on April 2, 2021. Farrakhan follower Noah Green plowed his car into a checkpoint near the Capitol, killing Evans. He then went after other officers with a knife and they lit his ass up.
Part of the democrat bullshit narrative is that white supremacists were the ones behind the “deadly insurrection” of January 6, but the only officer Pelosi honored, who was actually murdered, was killed by a Muslim black supremacist 3 months later.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool that Pelosi actually acknowledged Evans’ death because at the time, they completely ignored it due to the killer being the wrong color and religion. Still, it’s completely out of context and inappropriate for her to suggest Evan’s death was in any way related to some goofballs walking calmly through the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
Try as they might, democrats just can’t seem to get people to buy into their hyped up January 6 lie. No cops were killed. No members of Congress were injured. Democracy didn’t come close to being destroyed.
