Biden Fails In Promise To Protect Trans People As Their Deaths Have Soared Under His Watch

Weirdly enough, Joe Biden made protecting trans women, particularly trans women of color, a pillar of his 2020 presidential campaign. Just like every other campaign promise, he’s broken this one big time with the deaths of trans people soaring under his administration. What is it with this guy and failure?

Back in 2020, Joe Biden made the bizarre claim that, “transgender women of color, are disproportionately targeted by” mass shooters. He then released his plan to take decisive action against this made-up thing:

Combat the epidemic of violence against transgender women of color. As a direct response to the high rates of homicide of transgender people—particularly transgender women of color—the Biden Administration will make prosecuting their murderers a priority. And, during his first 100 days in office, Biden will direct federal resources to help prevent violence against transgender women, particularly transgender women of color.

Not a joke. A major part of Biden’s platform was to protect transgender people, particularly transgender women of color. Not hyperbole.

Let’s see how that’s going.

In 2021, Joe Biden’s first year in office, 56 trans people were murdered. So far in 2022, through September, 29 trans people have been murdered. 73 of the trans people murdered under Biden’s watch have been trans women of color.

Now let’s compare that to trans murders under Donald Trump’s presidency:

2017 – 29 trans people were murdered.

2018 – 26 trans people were murdered.

2019 – 27 trans people were murdered.

2020 – 44 trans people were murdered.

More trans people (85) were murdered in the first year and a half of Biden’s illegitimate presidency than in the first 3 years of Trump’s presidency (82).

Which makes it a great time to revisit this:

It turns out the fastest way to kill more transgender women of color is for Joe Biden to steal the White House.

Also, since Biden blamed Trump for the murders of 5 black transgender women, surely he’ll own up to causing the violent deaths of 73 trans women of color under his watch, right? Don’t bet on it. Accountability isn’t one of Joe’s strong suits. I can’t actually think of something that is his strong suit, but I definitely know it’s not taking responsibility.

Not only did Biden make protecting trans people, particularly trans women of color, one of the cornerstones of his presidential campaign, since stealing the White House he’s signed more executive orders, directives, and memos to protect them than any other issue or subject.

Again, not a joke. Biden has directed all of his cabinets to prioritize the safety and privileges of transgender people. He’s instructed the Pentagon to favor and coddle trannies. He’s made protecting transgender people a priority of his Justice Department, just under attacking conservatives.

With 85 murdered trans people under Biden’s stewardship, I would image trans people are screaming, “Stop protecting us, Joe!”

Joe Biden’s effort to protect trans people has been such a spectacular failure it’s hard to believe he didn’t put Kamala Harris in charge of it.
