This is what happens when you hire people for their identity rather than their qualifications. A Biden administration official, who identifies as gender fluid or nonbinary, was arrested and charged with a felony for stealing luggage. Joe Biden insists this official is at least the second smartest person he knows, right after crackhead son Hunter.
The NY Post reports that Sam Brinton, the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy, was arrested on a felony theft charge for stealing a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the baggage claim at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport in September.
Def-Con News readers may remember Sam Brinton, who isn’t exactly a man or woman but wears women’s clothes, from his/her fabulous debut at the Energy Department last June.
Brinton was caught on surveillance video grabbing the bag and removing the ID tag that identifies the owner. Due to his/hers unique appearance, police were able to figure out who the culprit was.
When police contacted Brinton, he denied taking the luggage.
“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual. That was my clothes when I opened the bag,” Brinton said to the officer.
What are the chances that someone would steal a bag at an airport and it was miraculously full of that thief’s clothes?
After reflecting upon the situation, Brinton called the police back and said he/she wasn’t “completely honest.” From there, Brinton’s explanation got more bizarre.
Brinton said that he accidentally took the wrong bag and when he/she realized it at the hotel, panicked because he/she didn’t want to be accused of theft. Brinton then claimed he/she took all of the articles out of the stolen luggage and left it in the hotel room.
There’s actually quite a few holes in that story. When Brinton flew to Minneapolis-St. Paul he/she didn’t check any luggage. If he/she knew he/she didn’t have any luggage, why would he/she go to the baggage claim and grab something?
Also, Brinton was seen with the stolen Vera Bradley suitcase on two occasions, while traveling to Washington, DC, on Sept. 18 and Oct. 9. If he/she had accidentally taken someone else’s luggage, he/she wouldn’t continue to use it.
Brinton was put in charge of the safe disposal of nuclear waste, but he/she can’t even safely dispose of incriminating evidence.
Brinton was charged with felony theft of a moveable property without consent and was placed on leave. Chances are, because Brinton checks off a lot of boxes Biden likes, he/she won’t actually get fired for this, even if convicted.
Another interesting aspect of this story is that it wasn’t made public before the midterms. A nonbinary Biden administration official getting arrested for felony theft sounds like it should have been a big story and yet it didn’t come out until after the democrats pulled off another stolen election.
Joe Biden likes to brag that his administration is the most diverse ever. It also happens to be the worst administration ever. I wonder if there’s a connection between those two things. Could it be that qualifications and experience are more important than gender identity and race?
