Robert De Niro’s schtick is getting old and it’s not just all of the terrible movies he’s made in the past couple of decades. Who thinks this guy is a good comedic actor? De Niro has threatened to punch Donald Trump in the face and called the President everything from a “mutt” to a lot of things that begin with the letter “F.” The past-his-prime actor has made it a habit of using award shows to attack the President and it’s as yawn-worthy as another one of those Meet The Fockers movies. In his latest temper tantrum he called Trump a “motherf*cker.” I wonder if he has writers or comes up with this witty stuff himself.
Variety reports that De Niro presented at another “who gives a shit” Hollywood award ceremony, where he was introducing comedian Billy Crystal. Earlier this year at the Tony Awards, De Niro got a liberal standing ovation for saying “f*ck Trump” and since he’s out of ideas decided to joke around and said, “F*ck Billy.” I have no idea if De Niro got another standing ovation for this, but probably considering the audience was filled with mindless liberal sycophants.
Actually it’s possible that De Niro’s F-bomb on Billy Crystal didn’t go over that well because he had to issue this explanation:
“I just get so upset with that jerkoff in the White House,” said De Niro.
The crowd reportedly booed and presumably that was directed at Trump.
“Boo is right! Down with this motherf*cker!” De Niro yelled.
Maybe this is when De Niro got a standing ovation. He not only called the President of the United States a mofo but also a jerk-off. This is very exciting stuff for people who can’t accept the results of a free and fair election.
De Niro kept it rolling by suggesting Billy Crystal should be president instead of Trump.
“We’ve got a dangerous buffoon-in-chief. What we need is a heroic comedian-in-chief,” De Niro said.
I guess the joke didn’t land, because as has already been establish, De Niro is not funny so he tried to walk it back.
“As much as we could use you in the never-been-more-white White House, I think it’s best to keep you right where you are — making us laugh and entertaining us like no one else,” said De Niro.
When was the last time Billy Crystal made anyone laugh? His schtick is somehow even more stale than De Niro’s. Nobody has wanted to hear him say “you look marvelous” since the 1980’s.
In case you missed it, De Niro also slipped some “Trump is racist” nonsense in with that line about the White House never having been more white. What about when the racist Clintons were in the White House? Or how about when any of those slave-owning democrats occupied it? Of the 45 people who have lived there, 44 of them have been white so its fair to say the White House has almost always been white.
The only thing that came close to comedy on this night was that fact that douchebag Alec Baldwin was scrubbed as a presenter because he beat the shit out of some random guy last week. It’s nice to see that Hollywood draws the line on unacceptable behavior somewhere.
Since De Niro’s days of making good movies are over it appears as if his new gig is to show up at awards shows and drop F-bombs on President Trump. It seems boring to me but liberals eat it up so he’s got steady work for another 6 years.
