Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez already thinks global warming, free speech, and immigration enforcement are racist but she just added cops and subway fares to that ridiculous list. More specifically, she thinks cops enforcing the law when scumbags jump the turnstiles in the NYC subway are racist. The dimwitted NY congresswoman threw her support behind a violent anti-cop protest related to police cracking down on people who don’t pay subway fares.
Fox News reports that there was a protest in NYC because the police announced they would be enforcing a law against riding the subway for free. Here’s some of the fun from that protest:
…protesters are shown helping each other jump turnstiles without paying the fare, while others are holding signs with slogans like “No cops, no fares.” One straphanger who did choose to pay the fare can be heard being yelled at by a protester.
“How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D,” protesters in the video chant.
Other videos and images from the same protest…showed banners that said: “Punch that cop!” “Don’t let these pigs touch us,” and “Hit em!”
…a group of demonstrators later surrounded a nearby MTA bus and vandalized it with slogans such as “F—k NYPD and NYPD KKK.”
AOC, being a socialist, thinks everything should be free, so she was all in on this protest:
Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich.
Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community.
New Yorkers know that, they’re not having it, and they’re standing up for each other. https://t.co/asvidIe5zV

AOC, being an idiot, supported this anti-cop protest in a completely incomprehensible way.
Her first point of idiocy has her making the claim that police are unjustly jailing poor people so that rich folks don’t have to go to jail. I wanted to debunk this, but it’s so nonsensical that I can’t make a compelling argument against it. It’s like trying to prove “ding-dong punch-donkey hypotenuse” isn’t true.
Next she claims that arresting people who break the law makes no sense. Well, it makes sense if we live in a civilized society with laws, which we do. It wouldn’t make sense in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, but chances are there wouldn’t be functioning subways, let alone subway fares.
If someone can’t afford $2.75 for the subway, chances are that person is not employed and doesn’t need to ride the subway to get to work. An unemployed loser who doesn’t have $3 to his or her name has absolutely no reason to go anywhere and it’s silly to think that person is entitled to ride the subway for free.
Lastly, AOC suggests that a hundred losers represents all of NYC, with a population of 8.6 million, most of whom pay to ride the subway. Yes, New York is a super-liberal city, but most of the people wish there was some law and order. Just not enough to vote for Republicans who would make that a reality.
In supporting this protest, AOC is saying that the NYPD are all a bunch of racists for enforcing the law. That would be fine if she was just dumbass “Alex from the Bronx” but she is a sitting member of Congress who is supposed to represent the city.
She owes every man and woman on the New York police force an apology, but instead she will play the victim, saying it’s racist and sexist to call her out for slandering the cops.
