A little over a week ago Joe Biden was credibly accused of sexual assault and the liberal media completely ignored the story because obviously Creepy Joe is a democrat. Also silent on the issue was Hollywood D-lister and #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano, who has said that all victims of sexual assault should be believed. The liberal media still won’t touch the story, but Milano broke her silence explaining basically that she doesn’t believe this particular accusation because it’s against Joe Biden, who again of course is a democrat.
A woman named Tara Reade, who worked for then-Senator Joe Biden in the early 1990’s has claimed that in 1993 he sexually assaulted her. She said he pushed her against a wall, forcibly kissed her, and penetrated her with his fingers. She told this story to other people at the time and even filed a complaint, so there’s some decent corroborating evidence that this happened.
Alyssa Milano however doesn’t believe this woman because she’s accusing someone the out-of-work actress is endorsing for president. Here’s an interview in which Milano explains why she believes every other accuser besides this one:

Basically Milano says that we can’t go around accusing democrats of this type of thing and argues that we need to let due process run its course before jumping to conclusions.
People called Milano on her bullshit so she made an even bigger pile of bovine excrement with this tweet storm:
There is something to the idea that people are going to weaponize #metoo for political gain. Just look at the replies here and look to see who those accounts are supporting in the primary. There always needs to be a thorough vetting of accusations.

#BelieveWomen does not mean everyone gets to accuse anyone of anything and that’s that. It means that our societal mindset and default reaction shouldn’t be that women are lying.

I believe, along with many others in this space, that accusations need to be investigated with due process for the accused. This is the only way for the movement to work & create the change we are fighting for.

So if we start believing sexual assault accusers the entire women’s movement will collapse?
Interesting, because back when Christine Blasey Ford was accusing then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Milano totally believed her.

Milano even went to the confirmation hears to give Kavanaugh some side-eye.
What could possibly be the difference between Ford’s baseless accusation against Kavanaugh and Reade’s credible accusation against Joe Biden? Well, Kavanaugh is a conservative judge who Milano hates and Biden is a democrat who Milano endorses for president. I wonder if that’s it.
Milano didn’t need to go to all of the trouble to tell us that liberals are full of shit. We know. It’s common knowledge that there is a liberal double-standard in which things are only bad when Republicans do them. Before joining the Screeching Sisterhood of Salacious Slander, all prospects must take the hypocritic oath. We get it.
