Beto O’Rourke is almost as good as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at saying stupid crap. The newly-announce presidential candidate is planning on running an “open borders” campaign and as such has stated that illegal immigrants make our country safer. There are hundreds of dead Americans and raped little girls who would disagree, but he probably meant that illegal immigrants make our country safer if you don’t count all the rape and murder they commit.
Since announcing his candidacy last week the liberal media has been creaming itself with unashamed fanboyism. Chuck Todd is no exception so he was busting a nut over O’Rourke on Sunday’s Meet the Press.
First, O’Rourke apologized for being white:
“You have admitted that, hey, you’re in a party right now that isn’t necessarily interested in a white male candidate, and that you’re sort of at a disadvantage in that. And yet the coverage of your campaign some people have criticized going, ‘Oh, it’s not fair. He’s getting coverage that some of the other candidates didn’t get.’ You’ve actually tried to answer some of that criticism. What do you say to that?” Todd asked.
“I would never begin by saying I’m at any disadvantage at all. As a white man who has had privileges that others could not depend on or take for granted, I’ve clearly had advantages over the course of my life,” replied O’Rourke.
After praising the diversity of the other democrats running in 2020 O’Rourke tried to make himself seem a little less white with this absurd statement:
“But I’ll tell you I also happen to be the only candidate from the United States/Mexico border at a time that that dominates so much of our national conversation and legislative efforts and the things that the president talks about,” O’Rourke said.
As you can see O’Rourke thinks living in proximity to the US/Mexico border makes him a little more Hispanic, which would explain why he culturally appropriated the name “Beto” It’s all apparent that his campaign will be one that advocates open borders as its one and only platform.
And then he said this:
“There’s one candidate who’s there who can talk about the profoundly positive impact that immigrants have had on our safety and our security, as well as our success and our strength,” said O’Rourke.
Is he serious? Even if you buy into the liberal false narrative that illegal immigrants commit less crime than US citizens, how can he say with a straight face that these illegals make us safer and more secure? Positive aspects, my ass.

Obviously O’Rourke is using liberal logic when he says illegal immigrants make us safer. Actual logic says that if you flood the country with criminals, crime will go up. Allowing rapists in means more rape. Letting murderers in results in more dead Americans.
